Thermal Image of Betta
« on: June 04, 2015, 09:36:12 PM »
A friend of mine has access to a thermal imager so I asked him to take a picture of a fish.  I had seen the pictures that he had taken of people, his cat, electrical wiring, etc. and noted the bright red/orange of the hot spots and the blue of the comparatively cool spots in the images. I know that most fish aren't warm blooded so in my head I knew what to expect, but I still wanted to see if there was any thermal difference between the fish and the area around it.  Although this isn't standard fish photography, this really is the picture of a Betta (if you look close in the bottom 1/3 of the image how can kind of make out the slight discoloration where the fish was located).
