Discus Video With Young
« on: June 03, 2011, 05:56:00 PM »
Bringing back the “Wild Blood” Here we have a breeding between a tank raised
Red Female Discus with a Wild Tefe Green Male. I like when I can to bring in Wild Fish and pair them up with tank raised/bred varieties. This increases the fertility and all around health of the fish and gives a much wider gene pool to work with.
If you have any questions you can email me.

we are coming by soon joe, maybe sund. stef got a nice 20g tall for the babies. got the ro unit working again so all is set. she is really excited now.

she is looking for the wild looking discus. she likes the heckle type or wild types with the stripes the most. i think she has a good idea of what she wants to do. and of course we will be posting pics. i have been slacking a lot on my pic taking. i need to get back on it. i got a nice camera now but have not sat down for a photo shoot in about 5 months.

we will be calling ya soon.

I had the wild Green for about a year I got 8 in and kept only 2 that were worth keeping.
They were full grown that size when they came in. As far as what they will look like I really do not know this is their 3rd spawn as far as which one is dominant it appears that I am getting both reds and greens. The adult male Tefe has quite a bit of red so we will see!!!!????

Thanks

I moved the hole spawn today I did not want them to damage their parents.
There must be over 200 of them!
